Fast track, high quality refurbishment in an operational luxury hotel.
Our Auckland team completed a fast-track refurbishment project at the five-star Stamford Plaza hotel in central Auckland, rejuvenating 284 rooms and suites over eight floors in an operational luxury hotel.
Working level-by-level, we stripped the existing fittings out of each room, reconfigured the plumbing, electrical and data services, installed new fittings, and redecorated.
We managed to accommodate a number of changes of scope suggested by the client as the project progressed, and worked proactively to assist the client to adapt their overseas-sourced fittings to NZ requirements.
We bent over backwards to ensure that hotel guests were not inconvenienced by the works, with the client commenting at the end of the project that they did not have any complaints from guests.
We were pleased to deliver a high quality finished project for the delighted client, with zero defects outstanding at the final handover.
